Find the Answer You’re Looking For
Your store URL is created when your store is set up and cannot be changed later. Choose your store handle carefully, as it forms part of your Dash to Cart storefront URL.
Your country of operation and base currency are set when you create your store. They are used for transactions and store configuration and are not editable in General Settings.
Your store URL is the permanent web address of your store. Your Friendly Name is the public store name customers see on your storefront, and you can update it anytime under Settings → General.
What is “Allow External Listing”?
When enabled, Dash to Cart can include your store in public discovery surfaces, helping shoppers discover your products and storefront beyond your direct store link.
Go to Settings → Storefront.
You can upload:
- Icon – the image used to represent your store
- Banner – the wide image displayed prominently on your storefront
Images can be PNG or JPEG, up to 10MB.
Yes. Go to Settings → Storefront → Branding and select your Brand Colour.
This colour is used for storefront accents and selected badges.
Store Badges let you highlight qualities that make your business stand out.
You can select up to 2 badges, including:
- Small Business
- Handmade
- Eco Friendly
- Women Owned
- Local Brand
- Fast Shipping
What integrations can I add to my storefront?
Dash to Cart supports storefront integrations including:
- Google Tag Manager
- Google Analytics 4
- Meta Pixel
- TikTok Pixel
- Tawk.to
- Hotjar
Go to Settings → Storefront → Integrations, select the integration and add the required script or code.
Your main store logo is managed separately under Settings → General → Store Details.
Use Storefront Settings for your storefront icon, banner and brand colour.
Go to Settings → Storefront → Announcement and enter a short message.
You can use this for promotions, shipping updates, launches or other important store notices.
Turn on Show Statistics Badges under Settings → Storefront.
This displays information such as your daily visitors, number of products and number of collections on your storefront.
Yes. Under Settings → Storefront → Integrations, choose Add Custom Script.
Enter a script name, choose where it should be placed and paste your code. This can be used for supported third-party widgets, analytics or other storefront tools.
Go to Settings → Payment and connect your Stripe account.
You’ll be redirected to Stripe’s secure onboarding flow. Once connected, you can enable the payment methods available to your store and start accepting online payments.
Where do I manage the payment methods customers can use?
Go to Settings → Payment → Payment Methods.
From there, you can enable or disable supported payment methods available through your connected Stripe account, such as cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, GrabPay and other eligible payment options.
Yes. Go to Settings → General → Support Information.
You can add a separate:
- Support Email
- Support Phone Number
- Support Website
- Support Address
These are customer-facing details and can be different from your private business contact information.
Where do I update my business information?
Go to Settings → General → Business Information.
You can manage your:
- Business Name
- Business Email
- Business Phone Number
These details are used by Dash to Cart and relevant partners for store operations and communication.
Go to Settings → Shipping & Pickup and enter your Origin Address under Shipping.
This is the sender address used for store shipments.
Yes. Go to Settings → Shipping & Pickup and enable Pickup.
Then add your pickup address, map location and pickup instructions. Customers can choose pickup during checkout when it is available.
Under Settings → Shipping & Pickup → Pickup, search for your location and select the correct point on the map.
This helps customers locate your pickup point more easily.
Check that Enable Pickup is switched on and that your pickup address has been completed.
Also make sure you have saved your Shipping & Pickup settings.
Go to Settings → Shipping & Pickup → Manual Shipping Rates and click Add Rate.
You can set:
- Rate name
- Destination country
- Delivery estimate
- Flat-rate or weight-based pricing
- Shipping price
You can also enable or disable each rate.
The Origin Address is used as the sender address for shipments.
The Pickup Address is the location customers see when they choose to collect their order.
They can be the same or different.
Yes. Use the Pickup Instructions field to provide important details such as collection hours, contact information, unit number or access instructions.
Keep the instructions short and easy to follow.
Yes. When creating a shipping rate, you can apply it to All countries or select a specific destination country.
This lets you create different delivery options and pricing for different markets.
Go to Settings → Shipping & Pickup → Manual Shipping Rates and click Add Rate.
You can set the rate name, destination country, delivery estimate, pricing basis and shipping price.
Yes. Set the Minimum Estimate, Maximum Estimate and the time unit when creating the shipping rate.
For example, you can show an estimated delivery time of 2–7 days.
Yes. When creating a shipping rate, choose a specific country or select All countries.
This lets you offer different delivery options for different markets.
Yes. Under Pricing Basis, you can choose:
- Flat rate
- Weight in kilograms
- Weight in pounds
- Weight in ounces
Choose the option that best matches how you charge for delivery.
Go to Settings → Team Members → Team Roles and click Add Team Role.
Enter a role name and description, then choose the permissions that role should have.
You can control access to areas such as:
- Orders
- Products
- Collections
- Coupons
- Bundle Discounts
- Sale Sessions
- Shipping Rates
- Audience
- Team access
- Store settings
Permissions can include Read, Manage, Create, or other actions depending on the feature.
Some permissions depend on other permissions.
For example, a Manage permission may require the corresponding Read permission to be enabled first.
Dash to Cart will show the required permission before you can select it.
Yes. Go to Settings → Team Members → Team Roles and select Edit or Delete beside the role.
The Owner role is a system role and should be treated differently from custom roles.
Go to Settings → Team Members → Team Memberships and click Invite Team Membership.
Enter the person’s email address, choose one or more team roles, then send the invitation.
The invited person receives an email with a link to join your store.
They can sign in or create a Dash to Cart account, then accept the invitation. Once accepted, they will appear in your Team Memberships list.
Yes. You can assign one or more available team roles when inviting a member or managing an existing member.
Their access is based on the permissions included in those roles.
Does a team member need a Dash to Cart account?
Yes. The invited person must sign in or create a Dash to Cart account before accepting the store invitation.
The Dashboard → Overview gives you a quick view of your store, including pending orders, total products, total collections, balances, payments and payouts.
Use it as your starting point for checking day-to-day store activity.
Yes. Use the period selector in Dashboard → Analytics to analyse different time ranges, from the last 24 hours up to the last 12 months.
This makes it easier to compare recent activity with longer-term trends.
Yes. Analytics includes a checkout funnel showing activity such as product views, add-to-cart actions and completed orders.
This helps you see where shoppers are progressing or dropping off before purchase.
What are AI Insights in Dash to Cart Analytics?
The AI Insights feature analyses your store data and generates a report to help you interpret your performance.
The generated insight can be copied or downloaded. AI tokens are required to use this feature, and it is available to paid subscribers.
Go to Dashboard → Analytics.
You can track revenue, traffic, visitor behaviour, product engagement, checkout activity, campaigns and other performance data from one place.
Payments show money received from customer transactions.
Payouts show transfers from your connected Stripe account to your bank account. Dash to Cart displays these separately so you can track incoming sales and outgoing payouts more clearly.
Yes. The Analytics dashboard includes product engagement data, helping you understand how shoppers interact with your products.
You can use this alongside views, cart activity and completed orders to identify products attracting stronger interest.
Does Dash to Cart provide a revenue forecast?
Yes. The Analytics dashboard includes a revenue forecast that projects expected revenue based on available store data.
Go to Customers from the left menu.
You can view customer details, order activity and other customer-related information from one place.
Go to Customers and identify customers with abandoned-cart activity.
Where available, use the email action to create a follow-up message encouraging them to return and complete their purchase.
Audiences let you group customers based on their activity or behaviour.
You can use audience groups to create more relevant marketing campaigns instead of sending the same message to every customer.
Yes. Dash to Cart includes AI-assisted writing features that can help generate or improve email content.
This can make it faster to create promotional, follow-up and customer-engagement messages.
It means the customer added products to their cart but did not complete checkout.
You can use this information to identify customers who may be worth following up with.
Yes. Dash to Cart lets you send emails to selected customers or targeted audiences instead of emailing everyone.
This is useful for promotions, product launches, reminders and customer re-engagement.
Depending on your customer data, Dash to Cart can help you identify shoppers based on activities such as:
- Abandoned carts
- Completed orders
- Recent purchases
- Product interest or engagement
These groups can then be used for more targeted communication.
Yes. Instead of sending one generic message, you can create emails around specific customer behaviours or campaign goals.
For example, you could send a different message to previous buyers than to customers who abandoned their cart.
Go to Orders from the left menu and open the order you want to review.
You can view the products purchased, customer details, order value, payment information, fulfilment details and other relevant order information.
Open the order from Orders and choose the available refund option.
Select the appropriate refund reason and confirm the refund. Refund processing time depends on the payment provider and the customer’s bank.
What do the order statuses mean?
Order statuses help you understand where each order is in the fulfilment process.
- Created — The order has been received and is awaiting action.
- Completed — The order has been fulfilled and completed.
- Cancelled — The order has been cancelled and will not be fulfilled.
Dash to Cart lets you initiate the refund from your order workflow, while the actual payment and refund processing is handled through the connected payment provider.
Go to Products and click Add Product.
Add the product name, descriptions, images, price, stock, variants and other relevant product details, then save the product.
Go to Collections and create a collection based on how you want customers to browse your store.
For example, you can group products by category, use case, season or theme.
Yes. Dash to Cart includes AI-assisted content features that can help generate or improve product descriptions.
AI usage is subject to the AI token allowance available on your account.
Yes. A product can be added to multiple Collections where relevant.
This lets you organise the same product in different ways without creating duplicate product listings.
- Physical products are items that need to be delivered or collected.
- Digital products are non-physical items such as downloads, files or access-based products.
When creating or editing a product, use the Variants section to add different options such as size, colour or format.
Each variant can have its own price, stock and other product details where applicable.
Check that the product has been saved correctly and added to the appropriate Collection where required.
Also review the product information, availability and storefront configuration to make sure it is ready for customers to view.
Product tags help describe and organise your products.
Use clear and relevant keywords that make it easier to manage products and improve how they are categorised across your store.
A Sale Session creates a dedicated, time-limited sales page for campaigns, livestreams, online events or pop-up sales.
It can include a countdown, selected products, special prices and a shareable storefront URL.
How do I add products to a Sale Session?
Open the Sale Session and go to Products.
Click Add Product, choose a product and set an optional price reduction before adding it to the session.
What happens when the Sale Session goes live?
When the scheduled start time arrives, customers can browse the Sale Session products and add them directly to their cart.
The page also shows how much time remains before the session ends.
Can I add a Sale Session to my calendar?
Yes. Customers can use the calendar option on the Sale Session page to add the scheduled sale to their calendar.
How do I create a Sale Session?
Go to Sale Sessions and click Add Sale Session.
Add the title, optional banner, descriptions, start time and end time, then create the session.
What happens before the Sale Session starts?
The Sale Session page displays a countdown to the scheduled start time.
Customers can also choose to be notified when the sale begins.
How do I share a Sale Session?
Open the Sale Session and use Copy URL to copy its dedicated storefront link.
Share the link through livestreams, social media, messaging apps, email, Zoom, Google Meet or your event channels.
What happens after a Sale Session ends?
Once the scheduled end time passes, the Sale Session is marked as ended and the promotional selling period closes.
Go to Coupons and click Add Coupon.
Enter the coupon name, redeem code, validity period, discount scope and reduction type, then set any minimum purchase or redemption limits before creating the coupon.
A hidden coupon is not displayed on the storefront, but customers can still redeem it using the coupon code.
This is useful for private promotions, influencer codes or targeted campaigns.
Coupons can apply to:
- Products
- Shipping
Choose the appropriate option under Scope when creating the coupon.
Can I schedule a coupon?
Yes. Set the Valid From and Valid Until date and time.
The coupon will only be redeemable during that period.
AI Tokens are used when you access AI-powered features in Dash to Cart, such as:
- Generating product descriptions
- Writing or improving marketing content
- Creating email content
- Enhancing product images
- Using other AI-assisted features
Your AI Token usage depends on the AI feature used.
How do I check my AI Token and Email Credit usage?
Your current monthly usage is shown in the left sidebar of your store dashboard under:
- AI Token Monthly Usage
- Email Credit Monthly Usage
The usage bars show how much of your monthly allowance has been used.
Email Credits are used when Dash to Cart sends emails on your behalf, such as promotional emails and abandoned cart recovery emails.
AI Tokens and Email Credits are monthly allowances and reset according to your subscription's monthly usage cycle.
Go to Bundle Discounts and click + Add Bundle Discount. Enter the name and description, set the required quantity, choose either a Percentage or Fixed discount, then create the bundle.
What is the difference between Percentage and Fixed Bundle Discounts?
Percentage gives customers a percentage off when they meet the required quantity. Fixed deducts a set amount from the qualifying purchase.
Open the Bundle Discount and click + Add Product. Search for the products you want to include and add them to the bundle.
Eligible Bundle Discounts are shown on participating product pages. Customers can view the offer and qualifying products, and the discount applies when the required quantity is met.
AI Image Enhancement helps improve product images using AI, making them cleaner and more suitable for your storefront without needing external editing software.
What can AI Image Enhancement improve?
It can help improve overall image quality, presentation and visual clarity so your product photos look more polished and consistent across your store.
How do I enhance a product image with AI?
Open your product or media image, choose the AI Image Enhancement option, and let Dash to Cart process the image. Review the result before using the enhanced version.
Does AI Image Enhancement use AI Tokens?
Yes. Using AI-powered image enhancement consumes AI Tokens from your monthly allowance. You can monitor your remaining usage from the dashboard sidebar.
