Media Library: Upload and Manage Product Images
Learn how to upload, search, filter and manage product images in Dash to Cart, including uploaded, imported and AI-enhanced media used across your product catalogue.
Overview
The Media Library gives you a central place to manage images stored for your store.
Instead of uploading the same image repeatedly while creating products, you can keep product media organised in one location and reuse it when needed.
To access it:
- Go to Products.
- Click Media Library at the top-right of the Products page.
What You Can Do in Media Library
The Media Library lets you:
- Upload new product images
- Browse existing media
- Search images by filename
- Filter images by source or origin
- Reuse images across products
- Manage images created through AI enhancement
Use the Search by filename field to quickly locate a specific image. This is especially useful once your media library grows and contains many product assets.
Filter Images by Origin
Use the origin dropdown to filter your media.
Available filters shown include:
- All Origins
- Uploaded
- Imported
- AI Enhanced
- Uploaded
Images manually uploaded to the Media Library.
- Imported: Images added as part of the product import process.
- AI Enhanced: Images generated or enhanced through Dash to Cart's AI image tools.
- All Origins: Displays all available images regardless of source.
To upload images:
- Open Media Library.
- Click Choose Images.
- Select the images from your device.
- Click Upload.
Once uploaded, the images become available for use within your store.
If no images have been uploaded yet, Dash to Cart displays:
No media assets
You can begin by uploading your first image.
It is useful to upload product photos to the Media Library before performing a bulk product import.
This allows the import file to reference the corresponding image filenames directly.
