Email Open Tracking

The Opened field shows whether the promotional email has been detected as opened.

For example:

Opened: 1 of 1

A timestamp can also show when the email was opened.

Important: open tracking is approximate

Dash to Cart explains that open tracking relies on a hidden image inside the email.

Some email clients may:

  • Block images
  • Pre-fetch images automatically
  • Strip tracking pixels

Because of this, email open tracking should be treated as an approximation rather than a guarantee.

Email Preview

The Delivery Details window also includes an Email Preview. This lets you review the content that was sent to the customer.

Good to Know

Customer segments are generated from the customer activity available in Dash to Cart. The available audience size is shown next to each segment.

Sent deliveries cannot be changed from the Delivery Details screen.

Email open tracking is not exact because it depends on how the recipient's email client handles tracking images.

The AI Continue writing feature can help expand email content, but merchants should always review the final message before sending.
